(Bill Taylor) The DASN (Air/Ground Programs) serves as the principal advisor to ASN (RDA) on matters relating to aircraft, cruise missiles, air-launched weapons, airborne sensors, avionics and related ancillary and support equipment. The DASN monitors and advises the ASN (RDA) on programs managed by the Naval Air Systems Command, the PEO Tactical Aircraft Programs, the PEO Air ASW, Assault and Special Mission Programs, the PEO Cruise Missiles Project and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Joint Strike Fighter. The DASN makes programmatic recommendations and technical development recommendations, conducts independent studies and analyzes industry capability for production and repair of aircraft.​

(Maj Gen Masiello) Program Executive Office Air Anti-Submarine Warfare, Assault & Special Mission. Program Executive Office, Air, ASW, Assault, and Special Mission Programs (PEO(A)) provides fleet capability and capacity, supporting development and sustainment of Navy and Marine Corps helicopters, special mission aircraft and aviation anti-submarine warfare equipment and aircraft.  PEO(A) comprises ten major program offices.

PMAs….

H-53 Helicopters Program: NAVAIR's PMA-261 manages the cradle to grave procurement, development, support, fielding and disposal of the entire family of H-53 helicopters.

Multi-Mission Tactical Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS): PMA-266 is NAVAIR's Program office for Multi-Mission Tactical Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Responsible to Program Executive Office, Unmanned Aviation and Strike Weapons, the program office has cognizance over the MQ-8 Fire Scout and CQ-24 Cargo UAS. The program office is also responsible for emerging group 4 and 5 vertical lift platforms.

V-22 Joint Program: NAVAIR's PMA-275 manages the cradle to grave procurement, development, support, fielding and disposal of the tiltrotor program systems for U.S. Marine Corps medium-lift assault support, and the U.S. Air Force's Special Operations Forces long-range infiltration, exfiltration and resupply missions.

H-1 Program: NAVAIR's PMA-276 manages the cradle to grave procurement, development, support, fielding and disposal of the Marine Corps rotary wing close air support, anti-armor, armed escort, armed/visual reconnaissance and fire support program systems.

H-60 Multi-Mission Helicopters Program: NAVAIR’s PMA-299 provides full-spectrum, world-wide support for the Navy’s SH-60B, SH-60F, HH-60H, MH-60S and MH-60R helicopters and user communities.
