The deadline for the 2025-26 Delegate Scholarship is April 1st, 2025
This is an opportunity for anyone attending an in-state approved trade school, community college, university, graduate school, dental school, veterinary school, medical school, or law school. It is a renewable scholarship available no matter your age or year in school. Rarely do scholarships have such broad acceptance criteria. To apply, residents need to live in my district, 29C. Those attending trade or private career school can find the list of approved schools here.
The requisites of this scholarship are as follows:
- attending or planning to attend an undergraduate (two or four year) institute,
graduate school, or career/trade school in the state of Maryland. * - enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours.
- reside in Delegate Todd B. Morgan’s District of 29C.
To verify you live within District 29C, visit the Maryland General Assembly’s website via the
following link: http://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Members/District. Select “Look Up”
and enter your address. If you are not a resident of District 29C, the application will not be
processed.
The subsequent questionnaire provides the scholarship selection committee for Delegate Todd
B. Morgan with the necessary information to justify awards of scholarships. Answer all
questions completely. For questions that do not apply, please mark “N/A” or “not applicable.”
All information disclosed in the questionnaire remains confidential. Please attach to this
completed application a copy of your FAFSA, most recent official transcript, and a cover letter
introducing yourself and letting the scholarship committee why you should be considered for
this scholarship. Failure to complete this questionnaire or to include the above information will
result in disqualification of consideration.
*You may apply to for an out of state school if you have a major not offered in the state
of Maryland. Please contact our office for this separate application.
