
Community Outreach Opportunity
The Patuxent Partnership supports the science fair programs in all three counties. TPP provides special awards and judges to encourage the commitment and accomplishments of the students in our region. In addition, many of our members also support individual counties, programs, and students as resources, examples, advisors, mentors, and as role models. Details of the TPP programs will be promulgated soon. The proposed schedules of, and links to, the individual county programs are provided below:
St. Mary’s
It’s time again for the St. Mary’s County Science and Engineering Fair, which will be held on January 25th, 2019 at Great Mills High School. (The snow date is February 1st.) This e-mail is a request for judges. Would you be willing to serve as a judge in this year’s fair? Judging starts at 0800 and lasts until approximately 1200. Please let me know if you would be available to serve as a judge on the primary date and/or the backup date using the form below. Calvert
The success of our Science Fair is dependent upon the contributions of our faithful sponsors. We encourage you to make the commitment for our 2020 event, which will be held on February 20. Attached you will find the form that should be completed and returned at your earliest convenience, but no later than February 7 in order to participate in this year’s fair.
Charles
The 5th Annual History, Industry, Technology, and Science (HITS) Expo will be held on March 7, 2020 at St. Charles High School, located at 5305 Piney Church Rd, Waldorf, MD. In the past, you or someone in your office has graciously volunteered to judge for a special award during the science fair portion of our HITS Expo. If you are interested and available to judge again this year, please go to the link below to register or contact me directly. Judges arrive on March 7th in the morning at 7:30 for breakfast and orientation. Judging will be completed before noon.
