Community Planning Liaison Officer (CPLO) for Naval Support Activity South Potomac (location Dahlgren, VA) – Naval Facilities Engineering Command Washington is seeking an experienced urban planner to fill the CPLO role at NSASP, covering Indian Head, MD and Dahlgren, VA. Seeking an individual with a bare minimum of five years’ experience in planning, land development, real estate, range operations, or related fields. Expected to represent the NSASP Installation Commanders to state and local government, neighborhood organizations and other stakeholders; negotiate solutions to land use incompatibility; identify opportunities to partner on purchase of development rights; and other such highly challenging duties geared toward preserving Navy missions (training and coaching will be provided).
