SoMD 2030 is a joint initiative of the Southern Maryland Navy Alliance (SMNA) and The Patuxent Partnership (TPP), with funding provided by Naval Air Warfare Center Aviation Division (NAWCAD). This collaborative effort will build up the STEM pipeline, increase career opportunities, and partnerships with government, industry, and academia – connecting talented students with paid internships in southern MD. It will create college internship opportunities with local industry and government – leading to further education and career opportunities.
IMPORTANT DATES:
→College summer internship program: June 12 – August 4
→Deadline for students to apply is Fri, Mar 3rd
→Interviews conducted: March 8 – 17
→Students notified of placement: March 24
