Overview:
Learn the latest about the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) from Jimmy Burke, President, and Patrick Pierce, Executive VP and Chief Banking Officer, for the Community Bank of the Chesapeake. They will provide general updates as well as answer questions that attendees have regarding PPP.
The PPP is a loan designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on the payroll. SBA will forgive loans if all employees are kept on the payroll for eight weeks and the money is used for payroll, rent, mortgage interest or utilities.
