Volunteers Needed for Science Fair Mentor Program

The NAWCAD Science Fair Mentor Program is in need of volunteers to mentor St. Mary's County high school students with their science fair projects.

Mentors can be

  • Scientists,
  • Engineers,
  • College professors teaching a science or engineering class,
  • College students majoring in a science or engineering field, or
  • Professionals who are fluent in a science- or engineering-related hobby.

Volunteers must be able to commit 1-2 hours on Saturdays from October through January/February (a weekday mentor session option is TBD in September).
